And those who come for dinner expecting poetry at the table (a reference to the word ‘sonet’ (sonnet)), will instead find a chef getting creative in the kitchen. Those who come on foot, since Bistro Sonet is in the old town centre of Kranj, will leave with a spring in their step.

In short, Bistro’s sonet’s ‘poetry’ is such that it is different; comfort food prepared in a gourmet way for lunch, and restaurant-style fine food for dinner.

It certainly is a surprise! Tourists are surprised to find such a fine dining experience in the pleasant ambience of a bistro, while locals are surprised, and delighted, that they have somewhere they can walk to from home for a special experience. Those arriving by car get a code for the car park of the hotel. After breakfast the hotel lays its tables for ambitious three-course lunches and for dinner doesn’t reel off prose but rather ‘just’ offers great food.
