Visiting experience -2021

The restaurant is such that every town would immediately adopt it. But then it wouldn’t be Tolc, since it wouldn’t have an organic farm, 10 heads of cattle for the beef soup, hunters from the neighbouring village, home cooked food for the third millennium and 35 comfortable beds for an unforgettable alpine holiday.

Cheese

A board with home-made Baccalà from Zupan’s Bohinj trout, raw meat slices from organic and ripened beef, salami with onion jam, mozzarella from home-made milk, goat cheese from Poljanska dolina and cow cheese from Sorška planina, buckwheat pancakes.

Beef soup with noodles, carrots and shredded beef.

Vegetables

Slightly hot pumpkin soup, pumpkin blossoms, red and purple bean blossoms, locust bean strudels and pumpkin seeds.

Žlikrofi in egg sauce, accompanied by crispy homemade cracklings and umami powder of forest black trumpets.

Krapi (dumplings)

Buckwheat dumplings are stuffed with cottage cheese and chives and topped with tepka (pear) cream and slices of roast pork.

Roasted young deer medallions in natural venison sauce, potatoes, beetroot and homemade blackberry jam.
