#TasteSlovenia

One can’t see down due to the fog enshrouding the green capital, and neither can you see inside due to the steam coming from the whipped butter. The sun is hiding behind the castle building, while a regal amuse bouche of foie gras awaits from the new lord of the castle. Gostilna na gradu still offers classics such as Carniolan sausage and fried chicken, however, beneath the arches of this Slovenian restaurant that cooks traditional dishes with new knowledge and where ice-cream made of roast potatoes is served on barley chips, the view is so clear that it is more than possible to #Taste Slovenia!

Gostilna na Gradu is a revelation for visitors to Ljubljana Castle, as well as visitors to Ljubljana and Slovenia from far and wide, since they recognise that Slovenian cuisine isn’t just about stews and potica, and that the capital doesn’t only revolve around the Ljubljana river. Gostilna na Gradu is a culinary tour by funicular through Slovenia and a cosmopolitan journey through contemporary Slovenian cuisine on the worldwide web.
