For a break and enjoyment
Hiša Krasna is ideal for those looking for somewhere for a break and to enjoy great food. The village of Lokev itself boasts the oldest prosciutto factory in the Karst, a military museum, St. Michael’s parish church, and Fabian’s museum shop, while it is also close to Lipica – home to the famous white Lipizzaner horses – and the Vilenica, Postojna and Škocjan caves. Hiša Krasna offers six guest rooms, however, it decided something else was needed. So now it has a wine store in the cellar and a large room for presentations and celebrations on the ground floor, while the team in the kitchen produces contemporary Karst food. Thus, there’s more than enough to keep you occupied, from treating yourself to a leisurely breakfast in the atrium, to staying for dinner too.
Hiša Krasna, Krasna House, addressing those with more demanding tastes and for whom details matter, such as what kind of wood the bed is made from, what type of stone is on the walls, for how many years the wines have been maturing in the cellar, which farms the meat comes from, and what grows seasonally.
