From an old, traditional restaurant, a new culinary centre of Slovenia emerged. This 250 year-old homestead is a manor house where guests can taste the whole of Slovenia. From Slovenia’s 24 gastronomy regions and 176 traditional dishes, Dvor Jezeršek has created a model for what a traditional Slovenian gostilna (inn) was and should be.

Real Slovenian flavours in the embrace of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. At Jezeršek, these flavours aren’t just in the beef soup, albeit its double-strength, but they are also in the prežganka soup – chef-style, with porcini mushrooms from nearby and spices from far away. They aren’t just in the Carniolan sausage and horseradish, or in the sea bass and poštoklja (mashed potatoes with cabbage or kale), or the liver with spätzle or the famous Jezeršek Kaiserschmarrn with fruit sauce, but rather in the entrepreneurship, talent and ideas, which have changed the old homestead into a real manor (and centre) of Slovenia’s culinary past and present. Jezeršek presents Slovenian gastronomy in a unique and contemporary way, with respect for heritage, yet with a clear message that Slovenian cuisine doesn’t only have a past and that it doesn’t only consist of žganci, štruklji and potica. The latter, of course, must also be, as good as they are at Dvor Jezeršek.
