When the Four Points By Sheraton was built alongside the Ljubljana ring road on the route between the north and south, not far from the hustle and bustle of the city, and subsequently extended to become the largest convention hotel in the country, the hotel promised that guests from near and far will not only stay the night but they will also be fed as befits such a hotel, i.e. fast and well. Therefore, the most important information to know before a visit is: Robin has fulfilled its promise!
Hence guests at Robin not only come to the hotel, but also to the restaurant. They come to stay the hotel, hold meetings and other gatherings, attend conventions, use the pool and gym, because it is here that night has caught up with them. Others come because they feel at home here, since throughout the world they stay in similar hotels where they know the rooms, bed, lifts, service, halls, lobbies, reception, bars, restaurants…
Therefore, the other piece of most important information is: Robin isn’t just a hotel restaurant!
Recommendation
Robin doesn’t disappoint. The restaurant has been designed to be sufficiently hotel-like that it imbibes hotel comfort, while the range of food on offer is varied enough that it satisfies those who just stop off for a quick break on a long journey as well as those who browse the menu wanting to try some traditional Slovenian food among the international dishes. Be sure to try the Slovenian beef, roasted in a special charcoal oven.
