A noble story in the middle of Brdo

Guests are enjoying the sunshine on the terrace in the middle of the vineyard, the smell of cigars wafts from the smoking room and the finest Brdo wines are laid out on the long table in the wine cellar. In the restaurant a well-known Slovenian vintner is hosting American wine afficionados, at the next table a group of German speaking guests are savouring the house tortellini, whilst jovial Italians are tasting the best Slovenian bottles.

Rebula wine is served in super-thin stemmed glasses, the pastel blue cushioned chairs are wide and comfortable, the table linen reaches to the floor, and the butter is served in white porcelain dishes. A noble story in the middle of Brdo, where the food accompany the best Slovenian wines!

Restavracija Gredic is an ideal place to stay overnight after eating or for a weekend in Brdo, a visit to famous vintners on both this and the other side of the border, and an aperitif at the bottom of the winding staircase.
